Kudos to the author for a great story with interesting characters, vivid and often funny dialogue, and lots of believable action. Loved Caine and Ronnie; both had strong, convincing roles. Hope to read more about the secondary characters, especially Mark and Fannie, and Brad and Janis. Gerald was a trip; hope the ole fool gets his due for trying to manipulate people.

This western is so unusual. In most of the western that I read, the guys are ones that's doing the shooting. Such genius, S.H. you let the gals in on the action too. You mixed and matched your characters beautifully. I am looking for book 3, ready for some more good reads
