Yeah, I thought he was cute like everybody else and liked the way he sang those love songs where men begged women to love them and be true, because he was going to be good to her. Back then, I think most of us took that kind of crooning for granted. We had no idea singer/songwriters like El would go out of fashion. I sure took El for granted. I think about twenty years past that I never even thought about those songs I listened to every day and night because those days were gone. Then he put out Second Chance! OH MY GOSH! I listened to that album(yes album!) all weekend. Then downloaded just about every old El Debarge song I could find. I'm just a couple of years younger than El, and listening to his voice and those old school lyrics take me back to college. I can distinctly remember how I felt being a girl. It was and is a great feeling. Don't get me wrong, now. I know I'm not twenty, but listening to El makes me feel good like that. My favorite song by El Debarge is All This Love, which should be playing right now.

I think I like this one better than the one I did right after I published Heart of an Outlaw. I think I'm learning how to get more into a smaller space. I did the synopsis for two books in a little more than three minutes. I used to take three minutes for one book! For trailers I think less is more.
