I announced and hoped I'd complete Come Into The Light and be halfway finished with An Outlaw's Rhapsody. I had the whole summer off and I got very little done. Or I should say I got a lot of little things done, including starting several manuscripts, made the book covers, designed several trailers(sold some too). I completed a few short stories I started years ago, and pulled some stuff out from under the bed and worked on them. The results are a lot of stories I am currently working on and it seems like I should be overwhelmed but I'm not. Right now the short stories are where my head is these days, especially the westerns. I think the only way to finish these stories up in a timely manner is to just write and write and write. I'm not going to worry about trying to promote and socialize, or keep up this blog. I'm a story teller and I believe it is time I acted like one again. I'm not a business woman, but I will act like one after I get some serious work done.
I made three videos to illustrate how unfocused I was this summer, and yet I got in some good work that I wasn't even aware of until I started counting the book covers and pages on my manuscripts. This summer I thought I was going nuts, and too stressed out to write. I think I have myself under control and energized to remain committed to all these projects. Lord, I need an assistant! But since that ain't going to happen, I'll just keep going the way I am for now. Anyway, check out the first video I made for my upcoming releases to my Adult contemporary titles coming in 2015
